This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used when you visit shlabu.work or submit a project inquiry. It is intended to meet the requirements of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended, and of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.
1. Who is responsible for your information
This website is operated by Shalev, a freelance creator working under the name by.shlabu ("I", "me"). I am the controller of the personal information described in this policy and can be contacted at byshlabu@gmail.com.
2. Information I collect
When you submit the inquiry form: your name, email address, brand or company name, project type, budget range, the project details you choose to share, your answer to the community referral question, and your confirmation that you accept the Terms of Use.
When you visit the site: my hosting provider processes standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and secure the site. Visit statistics are collected through a privacy-focused analytics tool provided by my host, which reports aggregate figures only and does not use cookies or build profiles of individual visitors. The fonts on this page are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
I do not request sensitive information, and I ask that you do not include any in your message.
3. How I use it, and the legal basis
- To review, respond to and follow up on your inquiry, and to prepare a proposal. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To post your project as a job opportunity in my community, including your name, company and email address, only if you answer "Yes" to the community referral question. This is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve the site and to keep a record of our correspondence. This is based on my legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
I do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
4. Providing information is voluntary
You are under no legal obligation to provide any information. Fields marked as required are needed for me to understand and respond to your inquiry, and the form cannot be submitted without them.
5. Who receives your information
- Formspree, Inc. (United States), which processes form submissions and delivers them to my inbox.
- Google LLC, which provides my email service and the fonts used on this page.
- Tiiny.host, which hosts this website and provides its visit statistics.
- Members of A.I Creator School, my private community of trained AI creators on the Skool platform, only if you consent to a community referral. In that case I post your project as a job opportunity, including its type, budget range and description together with your name, company and email address, so that members may contact you directly. The post is visible only to community members and is never published publicly.
- Professional advisers or public authorities, where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers are located in the United States or in other countries outside Israel and the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent commitments made by the provider.
7. How long I keep it
If your project is posted in my community, I remove the post once the project has been filled or when you withdraw your consent. Please note that members who saw the post before its removal may have already noted your contact details.
Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months from our last correspondence and are then deleted, unless we begin working together. In that case, project records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and as required by tax and accounting law. Formspree retains submissions according to its own policy, and I will delete them from its system on request.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- request access to the information I hold about you;
- ask me to correct or update it;
- ask me to delete it;
- object to, or ask me to restrict, its use;
- withdraw your consent to a community referral at any time, without affecting anything done before the withdrawal;
- receive a copy of the information you provided in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to byshlabu@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or, if you are in the European Union, with the data protection authority in your country.
9. Security
Your information is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is accessible only to me and to the providers listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Cookies
This page does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and the analytics tool described above works without cookies.
11. Children
This site and its services are intended for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
12. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised, and material changes will apply only to information collected after the change.
